This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Katyn National Monument. Located in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the monument is dedicated to the nearly 22,000 Polish prisoners-of-war executed by the Soviet government in the 1940 Katyn massacre.
Chairman Richard Poremski of the National Katyn Memorial Foundation explains the monument’s history and symbolism.
