The League of United Latin American Citizens met with Congress Thursday in order to discuss strategies to improve the quality of life for Latin Americans. The panel, which included members of LULAC and their partners, spoke about issues affecting the Latino community such as the high obesity rate, lack of accessibility to fresh fruits and vegetables, and affordable health care.
