The Green Party is back to split U.S. voting blocs with a new presidential ticket!
Running with Dr. Jill Stein, a politically inexperienced doctor, is formerly homeless single mother and poverty activist Cheri Honkala. The Greens welcomed about eight journalists to meet Honkala, their vice presidential nominee.
The all-female ticket is currently on the ballot in 20 states and the District of Columbia. It doesn’t include Roseanne Barr, the pugnacious and outspoken comedienne, who had sought the party’s nomination earlier in the year.
