WASHINGTON — The Obama administration has delayed a decision on whether to allow the controversial Keystone XL pipeline project to move forward. Now, those against the pipeline are using the time to make their voices heard.

The Cowboy Indian Alliance, made up of members from across the country, set up camp on the National Mall Tuesday and either rode on horseback or marched from near the Washington Monument to Capitol Hill to protest the pipeline’s path, which they said could harm their water supply and impact farmlands.
