WASHINGTON — U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, the first African-American woman to be the nation’s top law enforcement official,thanked several hundred Justice Department workers in a farewell speech in the agency’s Great Hall.
Lynch is the 83rd U.S. attorney general and worked in the Justice Department for 27 years, handling civil rights and sex trafficking cases.
