WASHINGTON – Standing on the House floor for eight hours in heels, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi pushed for a DACA solution ahead of an encroaching bipartisan budget deadline.
House Speaker Paul Ryan pushed for prioritizing the budget, which passed in the early hours of Friday morning.
DACA was not attached to the budget that finally made its way out of the Capitol at 5 a.m. However, while some suggest the congresswoman’s marathon may not have been successful, other experts are saying that it contradicts critics who say she is too old to lead.
