WASHINGTON -Almost ten blocks of Connecticut Avenue in Northwest Washington were blocked off Saturday night as the White House Correspondents’ Dinner convened the powerful and famous from across the nation.
Celebrities on the red carpet flocked to the cameras to talk about why this self-dubbed “nerd prom” is the hottest ticket in town. Most said they wanted to see President Barack Obama. Others admitted they just wanted to have some fun.
