With his approval ratings at an all time low, midterm elections looming and the economic recovery in doubt, the president could probably use a vacation. He’ll take one this week at Martha’s Vineyard, together with the rest of the First Family. Also in attendance are senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, counterterrorism adviser John Brennan and national security adviser Denis McDonough.
