WASHINGTON – “Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious…and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” – Walt Disney (As quoted in “Meet the Robinsons”)

Steve Jobs was only 10 years old when Walt Disney first said those words. By the time they were adapted for “Meet the Robinsons” in 2007, Jobs was regarded by many as a genius.

In the movie, the main character, Lewis, is an orphan who wants to be an inventor. Challenged by adversity and failed experiments, he’s transported to the future and meets a man who has invented things that changed the world and is living his dream life. Spoiler alert: he finds out it’s himself later in life.

There are many similarities between Lewis and Jobs – the most obvious may be the glasses – but the quote itself draws the ultimate parallel. Although, it’s impossible to think it was written about Jobs, I think few would argue that he lived it.

Here are some words, images and videos that were created in tribute to Steve Jobs.
