WASHINGTON — The parents of Trayvon Martin, accompanied by the Rev. Al Sharpton, Thursday said they would continue to press for justice, but were heartened by the arrest of George Zimmerman on second-degree murder charges in the killing of the Sanford, Fla., teen.

Special prosecutor Angela Corey has shown she will be fair, allaying his fears of a miscarriage of justice, Sharpton said.

Sharpton and Martin’s parents, Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, were in Washington to attend the 14th annual convention of the National Action Network that Sharpton founded.
