WASHINGTON — Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz promoted a husband and wife from captain to major Monday at the Pentagon.
Maj. Lori Hodge is serving a one-year deployment in Kabul. The pair celebrated six years of marriage last month. They have lived apart for half of that due to deployment. She attended the ceremony via a live satellite hook-up.
