WASHINGTON — Twenty children representing 15 countries received their Certificates of Citizenship Tuesday during a patriotic ceremony at President Lincoln’s Cottage in Washington, D.C.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services periodically holds these special public ceremonies to promote awareness of American immigration and the value of U.S. citizenship.
