WASHINGTON — Jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves had a busy weekend in the capital. Fresh from performing at the White House Friday night, the five-time Grammy winner gave an intimate performance Saturday for clients of Thrive D.C. — a homeless charity in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington.
Reeves was in town for International Jazz Day and used the opportunity to bring the music to new audiences .
