WASHINGTON — The National Building Museum recently opened an exhibit called “Icebergs” that showcases glaciers made of reusable materials.

The giant icebergs are set throughout the museum’s 12,540-square-foot Great Hall. The exhibit follows last summer’s successful project, “The Beach,” which included an “ocean” made of 1 million recyclable plastic balls.

Executive Director Chase W. Rynd said the unusual exhibit is a good way for the museum to stand out among the dozens of musems in Washington.
