WASHINGTON — Black Lives Matter protesters forcing the national police union headquarters to close for a day last week by staging a sit-in outside the building.
The Fraternal Order of Police represents police officers, and Black Lives Matter protesters said it is not doing enough to ensure officers don’t avoid punishment for wrongdoing.
