WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump hosted South Korean President Moon Jae-in in the West Wing of the White House on Tuesday for a meeting following a tumultuous few days in which North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un threatened to cancel the North Korean-U.S. Summit.
Kim’s threat came after South Korea and the United States took part in what he called “provocative” planned military exercises last week. During Tuesday’s meeting, Trump said the meeting must take place but that it may not happen on the planned June 12 date.
