Following a holiday tradition dating back to the Lincoln administration, President Donald Trump granted pardons to two South Dakota turkeys named “Peas” and “Carrots.” Despite pardoning both turkeys, Trump honored the popular vote winner, Peas during the annual ceremony in the Rose Garden.
