Virginia heads to the polls as Democrats look to take the House and Senate

Voters in the Commonwealth went to the polls on Tuesday to vote in local and statewide elections. All 140 seats in the state’s general assembly are up for grabs and many voters will be deciding on municipal offices including Sheriff and School Board membership.
