WASHINGTON — Nancy Pelosi had a weekly press conference on Thursday talking about topics small and large, including impeachment.
Pelosi stressed that legislating “takes time.”
While they are investigating Trump for impeachment, they also have other bills and issues to work on.
Pelosi said they made some progress on the United State-Mexico-Canada Agreement but doubted if they can reach a solid agreement by the end of 2019.
Thursday is the last day before a Thanksgiving break, and a long recess is waiting in December. The house has only eight legislative days before 2019 ends.
