WASHINGTON — Eleven and 15 years old activists showed up at Women’s March with their mother and aunt, who were also youth activists in their high school years.
“Historical trauma. It’s in our DNA and it transcends across generations,” said Emma Eagleheart-White, the mother of the two youth activists.
She said coming out to voice concerns over such issues is important “so that they[the children] don’t have so much of that pain passed to them and onto their children as well.”
