The vice-presidential debate took place in Salt Lake City just a few days after President Trump and other White House officials tested positive for COVID-19.
“The American people have witnessed what is the greatest failure of any presidential administration in the history of our country,” said Sen. Harris when she was asked about the COVID-19 pandemic on Wednesday. The virus has now killed more than 210,000 people.
Vice President Pence responded by saying he didn’t think a Biden-Harris win would put the country in a better place. “When I look at their plan that talks about advancing testing, creating new PPE, developing a vaccine, it looks a little bit like plagiarism,” said Pence.
