Last week, President Barack Obama welcomed the 1985 Super Bowl champion Chicago Bears to the White House in honor of the 25th anniversary of the team’s win. In 1986, a reception to honor the team was canceled after the Space Shuttle Challenger tragedy. Medill’s Katie Banks reports.
