Former Astronaut John Glenn reflected on his first time launching into space as shuttle Discovery makes the National Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center its new home. “How do you think you’d feel if you knew you were on top of 2 million parts built by the lowest bidder on a government contract,” Glenn said. “But it’s much more serious than that.”
