WASHINGTON – About 5,000 people gathered in Freedom Plaza Tuesday to watch Belgium eliminate the U.S. in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Despite the loss fans believe the excitement surrounding this year’s tournament will help soccer become a more prominent sport in America.
