PHILADELPHIA – Many speakers had the chance to talk during the Day 3 of the Democratic National Convention, in Philadelphia. However, everyone was waiting only one speech: President Barack Obama’s one.
The United States president met all the expectation.
Obama endorsed Hilary Clinton again, saying that she is the right person to become the next president and the only one able to carry on his legacy. According to president Obama, the former Secretary of State knows the job and she is now ready to take his seat at the White House.
Meanwhile, Obama fiercely accused Donald Trump, saying that America is not the one described and demonised by the Republican nominee. Referring to Donald Trump, Obama said, “America isn’t about ‘yes,he will.’ It’s about ‘yes, we can.’ And we’re going to carry Hilary to victory this fall, because that’s what the moment demands.”
Iacopo Luzi, following the convention from the balcony of Wells Fargo Arena, comments Obama’s words before and after the speech.
