WASHINGTON – Cameroon may soon be added to a growing list of sub-Saharan African countries influenced by the Arab Spring uprisings, which began in 2011.

Nov. 7 will be the 36th year in power for President Paul Biya of Cameroon, who was announced two days ago as the landslide victor of the nation’s recent presidential elections. The elections have been marred by fraud accusations and nonviolent opposition.
