WASHINGTON – It’s been a tense month in Washington, but not one without its easier moments.

A bipartisan group of congressional representatives joined together to hand wash the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in a show of gratitude and respect, early Friday, July 26th.

 
Participating members included Representatives Brian Mast (R-Fla.), Don Bacon (R-Neb.), Jack Bergman (R-Mich.), Paul Cook (R-Calif.), Mike Gallagher (R-Wisc.), Mark Green (R-Tenn), Trent Kelly (R-Miss.), Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga., Phil Roe (R-Tenn.), Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), and Michael Waltz (R-Fla; Gil Cisneros (D-Calif.), Conor Lamb (D-Pa.), Mikie Sherrill (D-N.J.), Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.), Elaine Luria (D-Va.), and Jimmy Panetta (D-Calif.).

With the final days before recess ahead, here’s to a happy and safe home visit for all of our nation’s leadership.
