WASHINGTON – The Havre High School Blue Pony Marching Band was selected by Montana Governor Steve Bullock to represent the state in a national parade.
“Honestly I think that we are the first band in the history of the state of Montana to ever do a parade like this,” says band director David Johnke.
The band participated in the annual National Independence Day Parade held in Washington D.C. to celebrate the country’s freedom. The students called this experience unforgettable.
“No pun intended but it’s the ultimate high note honestly, I can’t express it,” says band member Cayden Seiler.
